I personally read everything that this woman writes. A huge champion of Southern Oregon and our wine industry, Janet keeps us all plugged in to the many wonderful local opportunities for great food & wine(among other things). This week she highlights on of the craziest foodie events in the valley - Ashland's Food & Wine Classic!

Please understand, Ashland is a Southern Oregon mecca for great food. It is home to some of the best chefs in the state, not to mention some of the most competitive! So take the information I just mentioned and apply it to a multi-day "Iron Chef" style cook off, complete with food & wine sampling and you'll start to get the feeling for the kind of fun this event offers. Put it to you this way, last year I lost my voice cheering for my favs in the finals.
